Renovo area fire crews responded to a third-floor apartment fire Sunday night at 336 Erie Avenue, Renovo.

The apartment is one of three above Hairville, next to the Renovo Fraternal Order of the Eagles hall. Although small flames did manage to escape the building through an outside wall, the fire was quickly contained and the incident was called under control in about an hour.

The apartment building is owned by John Snyder, and it appeared that at least two renters would not be able to stay in their apartments Sunday night.
